Autonomous system for cell isolation, preservation and biobanking
On November 2022 Spark-Tech signed a grant agreement (#POIR.02.03.06-12-0040/22-00) with Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) to apply for EIC Accelerator funding to develop Spark-Tech Isolation and Biobanking System (STIBS). The value of the project amounted 280 060,00 PLN.
The aim of the project is to prepare an application for the EIC Accelerator program within the European Union, through which the financing is planned for the design and construction of a set of devices for autonomous and fully automated isolation of various cell types, as well as two autonomously functioning biobanks with controlled freezing capabilities for cellular material. The STIBS (Spark-Tube Integrated Biobanking System) will be developed by expanding the functionalities achieved in the STBS (Spark-Tube Biobanking System).
